Belleville SWAT To Hold Training Drill In Livingston On Friday
The Belleville Police Department's SWAT Team will conduct training at two locations in Livingston on Nov. 16, authorities said.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — The Belleville Police Department’s SWAT Team will conduct training at two locations in Livingston on Friday, Nov. 16, authorities said.
According to a Livingston township news advisory, the training will take place between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday. Locations include:
- Belmont/South Ashby Avenue and N. Hillside
- W. Mt. Pleasant and Park Drive
“Residents may see police activity in these areas due to this pre-planned training,” Livingston officials stated. “There will be no live ammunition used during this training, and there is no reason for concern at seeing police activity in the designated locations.”

Livingston officials said that neighbors, nearby schools and the Livingston Board of Education are all being notified.
“Please note that this is only a training drill,” officials emphasized.
