B'nai Abraham Sisterhood Hosts Rosh Hodesh Iyar with Rabbi Dantowitz

Sisterhood invites you to join in an evening of learning, sharing, noshing and inspiration as we welcome the new Hebrew month of Iyar.

Rosh Hodesh is the Hebrew term for the beginning of the month on the Jewish calendar. The new month, or Rosh Hodesh, has evolved into a women’s holiday. Temple B’nai Abraham’s Sisterhood joins together a few times a year to welcome the new month with conversation, learning, spiritual growth, and connection.Temple B'nai Abraham is located at 300 E Northfield Road, Livingston.

On Tuesday, May 10, 7:30 PM , Sisterhood invites you to join in an evening of learning, sharing, noshing and inspiration as we welcome the new Hebrew month of Iyar led by Rabbi Faith Joy Dantowitz.

The month of Iyar falls between Passover and Shavuot, a time of counting (the Omer). It also includes Yom Ha’Atzamut (Israel Independence Day). We will celebrate Women of Israel and our own connections as Mothers of Israel.
