HOLY LAND TRIP PLANNED
PASTOR TO BRING GROUP TO THE HOLY LAND: Leading the Journey of a Lifetime
On March 11 – 20, 2014, Rev. Daniel Martian, Pastor at the
Presbyterian Church of Livingston, 271 W. Northfield Rd, will depart on a 10 day
trip to the land he has studied about his whole life. The journey includes tour
of Bethlehem, Nazareth, Jericho, the Mount of Olives, the Upper Room, the Old City of Jerusalem, the Garden Tomb and more!
The pastor hopes that the trip will awaken an understanding of
the teachings of Jesus, rejuvenate spiritual life, and build community relationships.
The travel/study program has been arranged by Educational Opportunities, a Christian tour company whose main objective is to provide pastors and their congregations affordable, first class learning experiences in the Land of the Bible. The program will combine sightseeing with informative lectures. The cost of the pilgrimage is an all-inclusive price of $2998 from Newark. There is an informational meeting, Tuesday, June 18, 7:30 p.m. at the church.
