"Joyful Dance 2013" at Livingston Public Library

"Joyful Dance 2013" will be presented on Saturday May 18, 2013 at  3pm at theLivingston Public Library.

The showcase, featuring Chinese classical & folk dance,modern ballet, Italian & Indonesian folk dance, beautiful costumes,  instrumental music, & martial arts, will be performed by the Joyful Dance Ensemble, of East Hanover NJ.

Dr. Peter Wong is the Art Director of Joyful Dance Ensemble.
Dr. Wong had taught Chinese classical, folk, and jazz dance in Hong Kong forthirteen years before he came to United States. He earned his MA in modern dance at Mills College, California, and his Ph. D. in modern dance at University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a former dance assistant professor and director of the dance company of Wheaton College, Illinois. Dr. Wong has choreographed dance for college plays, musicals, operas and Wheaton College dance company. . He has  given dance lecture demonstrations and workshops in Hong Kong, Australia and United States.
