LEF Announces Hall Of Fame Homecoming Weekend Events
Events include HOF banquet Friday, football game Saturday and teachers reading to students Saturday and Sunday.

The Livingston Education Foundation announces the varied events constituting its Second Annual Hall of Fame Homecoming Weekend and invites all residents to participate and celebrate with us.
Tomorrow, the Hall of Fame Honorees will be visiting the High School where they will meet with students and faculty and discuss, among other things, how their Livingston education contributed to their lifetime achievements and successes.
On Friday night, new inductees into the LHS Hall of Fame, as well as the 2011 LEAD Award recipients, will be honored at a dinner to be held at Cedar Hill Country Club.

On Saturday and Sunday, varied events open to the community will be held to continue the celebration. The Homecoming Football Game against Newark East Side will start at 1 p.m. Saturday at the LHS field. Many enjoyable surprises will be in store for the attendees, in addition to a great football game.
Barnes & Noble at the Livingston Mall is partnering with LEF and will have many programs and events that are also open to the community, including teachers reading to elementary school students on Saturday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., On Sunday, there will be book club meetings and an Open Mic event (1-2 p.m.) hosted by HCHY.

Anyone purchasing School Wishlist and other books between Oct. 15-19, and presenting the appropriate voucher available at the LEF web site or bn.com/bookfairs will have a percentage of the sale donated to LEF. While you are there, go to the Cafe and order a Liquid Lancer, a non-alcaholic drink created just for these events.
Finally, on Oct. 23, participate in the 5K run, jointly sponsored by LEF, the Big L and West Essex YMCA, to benefit and encourage health and wellness to all residents. The celebration continues for the balance of October where Margaritas will be donating to LEF if an available flyer is presented.
