Stuff the Bus

The Livingston Clergy Association thanks Kings and Shop Rite for contributions to Livingston CHOW

LIVINGSTON CLERGY ASSOCIATION THANKS AREA STORES FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

The Livingston Clergy Association would like to thank Kings and Shop Rite for providing nonperishable food items, paper goods, and their parking lot for the “Let’s Stuff the Bus” held on Saturday, May 26.  The items that were collected went to help those in our community as well as area soup kitchens. Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW) is a ministry of the Livingston Clergy Association that was started to be proactive for providing assistance in one central location. The program is managed by Sister Barbara Howard. “Since its beginning, people in our faith communities, Livingston organizations as well as the community as a whole, have made people’s lives a little brighter due to the incredible outpouring money and food items. It truly has taken on a life of its own, and we are so grateful for the community support,” said Rev. Daniel Martian, President of the Livingston Clergy Association. If you would like to make a donation, please contact the Sister Barbara at St. Philomena’s Sharing Office.
