Vision 20/20 Coming Into Focus

Residents and businesses -- soon you will be able to be heard and express your concerns and/or compliments to our township leaders.

Vision 20/20 is preparing to issue its most comprehensive questionnaire to date, designed to cover our residents and business owners evaluations of township services and other programs that Livingston has to offer. Each of us will be able to make suggestions on what can be done to improve or enhance those services and programs and our perceptions of them.

Questions to be answered cover 11 areas from Public Safety, Youth and Senior Programs and Activities, Arts and Culture, Conservation and Environment, to Town Infrastructure and Customer Services.

Those who respond will be able to express their opinions on all aspects of the subjects covered as well as provide suggestions for changes, improvements and/or additions.

This will give all responders, residents and business persons, the opportunity to be heard and to let our community leaders know how we feel and what is important, what we like or dislike about the township and what we would like to see in our future.

In the past, more than 3,000 residents have responded and many of the suggestions made by them have actually been implemented, so it is important and worthwhile to spend a few minutes completing the questionnaire and letting your voices be heard.

This questionnaire has literally taken many months to prepare, with the assistance of town officials and volunteers, including experts on communications, and it could very well be the most important use of your time to benefit all residents and our local businesses, as well as our surrounding neighbors.

When the questionnaire is issued, announcements will be made in all local media, so you will know where to find it, how to complete it and where to send it.
