This was the second theft of office phones from Route 10 offices in less than two weeks. On Sept. 9, an East Hanover business reported six phones taken. Police believe the two break-ins may be related, Dippold said.
At the Livingston law office, the theft happened between 7 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, Dippold said.

A burglar’s tool was used to pry open a file room door leading to the second floor common hallway and the phone system was taken from the IT closet. The offices themselves were not ransacked, Dippold said. The investigation is continuing.
Faust, Goetz, Schenker & Blee was founded in 1998. According to its website, the firm handles fraud claims against insurance companies in New York and New Jersey.
