Burglar Ransacks Livingston Home; Police Investigation Continues

A Livingston resident returned home to find a broken window near the living room, police said.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A burglar ransacked a home in Livingston last week, authorities announced Tuesday.

According to the Livingston Police Department, officers responded to a Driftwood Drive residence at 7:17 p.m. on July 17 after getting a report about a burglary.

The homeowner said they returned home to find that someone broke a window by the living room. They found that several rooms in the home were "ransacked," police said.

It isn’t currently known what was taken from the residence, authorities added.

The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating the burglary, police said.
