Charges Filed in Bus Accident
A three-vehicle crash in Livingston left one person injured.

Careless driving charges have been filed against the driver of a poultry company truck involved in a bus accident in Livingston earlier this month that left one man injured.
occurred on Jan. 17 near 570 Mt. Pleasant Ave. when a New Jersey Transit bus, which had paused at a bus stop, was hit from behind by an electrical truck and a poultry company truck.
According to Det. Sgt. Anthony Dippold of the Livingston Police Department, the charges were filed against James Ryan of Bayville, who was driving the Puglisi Egg Farm truck that hit the other truck, which in turn hit the bus.
None of the injuries were considered serious.
Dippold said the investigation had been delayed because Ryan claimed his brakes were faulty. The traffic bureau investigated and found nothing wrong with the brakes.
