Choice Pet Supply Now Open at The Village Shopping Center in Livingston

Choice Pet Supply recently celebrated its grand opening at The Village at Livingston in Livingston. With 18 retail locations throughout New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, Choice Pet Supply offers an outstanding selection of natural, organic and holistic foods for dogs, cats, companion birds, small animals, fish and reptiles in a fun and family-oriented shopping environment.

The natural pet products retailer occupies 3,000 square feet at this key Essex County shopping destination.The 93,000-square-foot shopping center is managed and developed by Livingston-based Eastman Companies.

David Perlmutter of Perlmutter Properties negotiated the long-term lease on behalf of Eastman. The tenant was represented by Jeff Kintzer and Farron Roboff of Royal Properties.

Choice Pet Supply further enhances the diversity of The Village at Livingston’s existing tenant base, according to Peter Schofel, Eastman’s co-managing partner.

“This is a very successful, well-shopped center with a fantastic mix of retail, service and restaurant tenants,” Schofel said. “Bringing well-established brands such as Choice Pet Supply to The Village at Livingston is an important step in our repositioning effort, and we anticipate other top retailers will soon follow suit. We are confident that Choice Pet Supply will solidify the center’s reputation as a ‘one-stop shopping’ destination.”

The addition of Choice Pet Supply follows the opening of a 23,000-square-foot Fresh Market supermarket at The Village at Livingston. The specialty grocer occupies a portion of the center’s former Pathmark store.

Located at the intersection of Route 10 and Eisenhower Parkway at 277 Eisenhower Parkway in Livingston, The Village at Livingston is situated along one of northern New Jersey’s most desirable retail corridors. The well-maintained, well-positioned shopping center boasts exceptional highway access and visibility in one of New Jersey’s most prosperous commercial and residential hubs.

Current space availabilities at The Village at Livingston range from 1,700 to 24,000 square feet, and include a 7,000-to-18,000-square-foot end cap.

The three-building plaza features a complementary mix of service and retail tenants, including Olive Garden, GameStop, Wine Legend, Hudson City Savings and Zen Japanese Cuisine. The Village at Livingston serves a growing residential population of more than 158,000 people within a five-mile radius. The marketplace offers an average household income of more than $110,000, and the daily traffic count exceeds 35,000 vehicles.
