TBA series begins with L'Mazel What to Expect from Jewish Ritual When you Are Expecting A Jewish Baby, led by Rabbi Dantowitz

Becoming a parent is a blessing with great responsibility. Rabbi Faith Joy Dantowitz will lead the ‘Blessings, Opportunities and Challenges of Parenting’, which includes three programs geared to parents of children from birth to preparing for college. The series begins with L’Mazel What to Expect from Jewish Ritual When you Are Expecting A Jewish Baby, on Wednesday, January 13, 9:30 AM, at the temple, 300 E Northfield Road, Livingston. This class is a wonderful way for new/expectant parents to learn about baby namings/Brit Milah, Jewish bedtime rituals and creating Jewish family rituals.
The upcoming classes are Broken Idols: The Shattered Sports Role Model and the Teaching of Judaism (for Parents and Kids), Wednesday, February 24, 7:00 PM TBA member Brian Geltzeiler, an NBA writer/analyst who hosts a Sirius Satellite radio show, will help lead this program. And then
Navigating the College Frenzy, ( for Parents) on Wednesday, March 16, 7:30 PM, features two college prep experts, Samantha Greenberg and Linda Kay to help parents gain a clearer understanding of how to approach this exciting yet stressful stage in their children’s development.
