Collins Spring Concert

Collins Elementary School musical ensembles close out the year on a high note.

On Tuesday evening, Collins Elementary School held its spring concert. For many of the students, it was their last time on stage with the school, as they are soon headed for Mt. Pleasant Middle School in the fall.

The event featured performances by the school's Band, Orchestra and Chrous. The Band and Orchestra were conducted by Anthony Schamus, while the Chrous performed under the direction of Richard Battitsta.

Among the most popular songs that were performed included Old MacDonald Had a Farm, Eye of the Tiger and Owl City's hit song Fireflies.
