Police were called on the press at the New Jersey home of TV host Wendy Williams this week as her troubles with her husband have apparently continued, reports say. A tape of the call also has emerged.
The police call came on Thursday, one week after Wendy Williams filed for divorce from her husband Kevin Hunter, according to People magazine. Hunter asked police to come to their home in Livingston.
Hunter called local law enforcement and asked that they respond to his and Williams’ New Jersey mansion to address members of the media who were waiting outside.

That same day, Hunter was ousted as an executive producer for “The Wendy Williams Show,” according to the report.
The Asbury Park native and TV host is now divorcing her husband after she was hospitalized last month, according to reports.
Williams is divorcing after she was "found drunk," suffering after her husband’s alleged mistress gave birth, according to reports.
Williams filed for divorce earlier this month, and then hosted her Fox talk show, “The Wendy Williams Show,” without her wedding ring, according to nj.com. She did not mention the divorce on the air.
Williams, who was born in Asbury Park, lives in Livingston and grew up in Ocean Township (story continues below video, which contains details about the divorce).
“Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time," a representative for Williams told People. “Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together.”
The host of “The Wendy Williams Show” was hospitalized and was staying at a sober home in Queens after her husband, Kevin Hunter, fathered a child with his mistress, Sharina Hudson, according to The New York Post's PageSix.
Williams was taken to the unidentified hospital where she was given IV fluids, according to Fox News. The TV host had left the sober home in Queens, prompting a hunt for her before she was found.
“Wendy is not in a good way, everyone is so concerned for her. The sad thing is that she’s been working so hard to stay sober and she’s been so honest in her struggles with all her fans, and this just tipped her over the edge," according to a source quoted by Fox News last month.
