This show is a “Best of the Best,” featuring some of New York City’s hottest comics, and it is expected to be a sell-out. “These guys are all closers; they usually get top billing wherever they perform,” said Holst.
Take Joseph Anthony, for one. “I was surprised he even agreed to do the show,” said Holst. “He usually performs at The Borgata, but we are lucky to get him.” The evening’s host is the highly popular John Larrochia – aka the New York Fire Comic.
Holst started the shows about a year ago, because as a standup comedy fan he was irritated by having to drop $100 a person to see his favorite comedians perform at comedy clubs.
