COVID Death Update In Livingston: Nursing Home, Town Totals
How many deaths have been linked to the coronavirus in Livingston? And how many of those took place in local nursing homes?
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Authorities released the latest coronavirus death totals for Livingston and its nursing homes on Thursday.
According to Essex County officials, the entire town of Livingston has seen 432 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 63 deaths linked to the disease, a 14.5 percent fatality rate.
According to the New Jersey Department of Health, there were 142,704 confirmed cases statewide with 9,946 deaths, a 6.9 percent fatality rate.

LIVINGSTON NURSING HOMES
According to the New Jersey Department of Health, Livingston's nursing and retirement homes have seen 286 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 59 deaths linked to the disease: a 20.6 percent fatality rate.

The totals included:
- Care One at Livingston - 43 cases, 8 deaths
- Care One At Livingston Assisted Living - 37 cases, 15 deaths
- Brandywine Assisted Living in Livingston - 15 cases, 6 deaths
- Atrium Post Acute Care of Livingston - 112 cases, 10 deaths
- Inglemoor Rehabilitation & Care Center - 79 cases, 20 deaths
Statewide, there were 27,153 cases of the virus at nursing homes, retirement homes and other long-term care facilities, with 5,168 deaths linked to the disease: a 19 percent fatality rate.
