Delayed Opening For Livingston Schools Wednesday: Here's The Forecast

Several North Jersey school districts issued a delayed opening for Wednesday, including Livingston. Here's why.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — After more than 2 inches of snow fell across North Jersey on Tuesday, many, including Livingston, had a delayed opening.

And for Wednesday, Livingston called for another.

"Due to the extreme cold temperatures overnight leading to icier road conditions, Livingston Public Schools will have a two-hour delayed opening tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17," the district wrote.

The National Weather Service says the temperatures will be in the 20s, but the wind chill may go as low as 5-15.

Meanwhile another 1-2 inches of snow are predicted for early Friday.
