Delivery Truck Takes Down Wires Near Livingston High School

Livingston school officials say that nobody was injured, but warn residents to remain clear of the area.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A delivery truck accident took down several communication wires near the Livingston High School parking lot on Thursday morning, school officials say.

Livingston police and school personnel were able to secure the area while repairs were being made, school administrators stated in a social media post.

Nobody was injured in the incident and telephone and computer service were not interrupted, school officials said.

Emergency responders blocked off the area, however, school officials are asking the public to stay away from the affected area because “the communication wires remain grounded in the parking lot near the high school cafeteria.”
