Do Your Tinker, Craft, Or Create? Livingston Library Wants You For 'Maker Day'

The Livingston Library is looking for people to exhibit for "Maker Day" next month, part of a statewide celebration of creations.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Library will host their own "Maker Day" on Saturday, March 25. They're seeking creators who want to show their skills, and encourage them to sign up this month.

"To help make our Maker Day a success, the Livingston Public Library is looking for applicants who have a trade, skill or craft that they would like to exhibit to our patrons," they noted.

Maker Day is all about the celebration of “maker” culture of all forms, including crafting, STEM, tinkering, and other physical creating.

The event will be part of a statewide New Jersey Makers Day.

New Jersey Makers Day is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that inspires and activates libraries to showcase and highlight STEM and "maker culture."

In the past, the Library has hosted successful Maker Day events that have brought the community together through creation, they said.
