Police in Livingston said that last Thursday, April 20, they were called to a Rosedale Terrace home around 3:48 a.m. on a report of a burglary.
The homeowner told police that the sound of the barking dog and burglar alarm had woken up the household.

Video from the home surveillance system showed that three people first tried to steal the 2022 Acura from the driveway. Then, they entered the home through a rear door and stole the homeowner's wallet.
However, the alarm and dog scared the trio off, police said.

Police said they believe the same suspects were involved in other attempted burglaries. The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating.
