Livingston Is Givingston: Donate Food At Event On Saturday; Toy Drive Starts Monday
The food pantry works with 50 needy families in the Livingston area whom they help regularly. Now you can help during special hours Saturday
LIVINGSTON, NJ — A local group is hosting a food drop-off event for the needy this Saturday, and another group is hosting a holiday toy drive starting Monday.
UNICO's local food pantry, run by Livingston Neighbors Helping Neighbors, is in need of "as much non perishable foods and frozen turkeys with [unexpired] dates" as they can get, they said.
The food will help 50 families that are also a little less fortunate then others.

The food drive will take place this Saturday, Nov. 19, behind Livingston Town Hall, 357 South Livingston Ave., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Also, the Livingston Youth & Community Services (LYCS) Annual Toy Drive begins Monday, Nov. 21.
Collection boxes are located at the Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Ave., upper and lower level entrances.
The deadline for drop-off is Wednesday, Dec. 14, 12 p.m.
You can donate a new, unwrapped toy or a roll of wrapping paper and tape.
The targeted ages are 0-12 years old.
