Temple B’nai Abraham Congregational Learning is offering a course entitled “Dying, Death and Mourning: What a Jew believes and what a Jew does,” on Wednesday, January 7, at 7:00 PM. Rabbi Clifford Kulwin will lead this discussion at the temple, located at 300 E Northfield Rd, Livingston. We will review Judaism’s end of life traditions in an effort to become familiar with the rituals and beliefs and understand some of the psychological insights behind them. We will also look at the bureaucratic aspects of dying; the roles played by funerals homes, synagogues and cemeteries, as well as consider what Judaism says about subjects such as “pre-planning.”

Classes are free and open to the community. Register online or call 973.994.2290. Visit http://www.tbanj.org/congregational-learning/overview.
