Emergency Water Main Fix May Affect Supply In Livingston, Town Says
Emergency Livingston water main repairs may impact the water supply and traffic. Meanwhile, some Essex County roads remain flooded.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — As if high winds and a delayed school opening weren't enough to mess with Livingston residents' schedules Wednesday, emergency water main repairs may affect traffic and water supply, the township said around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The town posted, "Emergency Water Main Repairs at Surrey Lane between Fawn Drive & North Hillside Avenue. Possible water interruptions/discolored water & traffic delays. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you see any air or discoloration in your water, run the cold water faucet at the sink closest to your water meter until the water is clear. Thank you for your understanding."
