The Livingston Town Center “Love-In” on Thursday, May 26 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. will feature 18 live bands on two stages at the second annual event, in connection with Livingston’s 16th annual Youth Appreciation Week.
The theme of the Love-In, inspired and founded by Mo Menzel, owner of the shop Mo Fiddles in the Livingston Town Center, is to offer young people an outlet for expressing themselves through great music and festive dress, and giving them an opportunity to reflect on what’s important in life, such as giving back to the community.
The Love-In will be arranged like a street festival, with the outdoor parking area between the shops in the Town Center closed off to cars and open to visitors on foot. The Love-In will also serve as a volunteer fair, where volunteer organizations (township, charitable, school, etc.), will have the opportunity to reach out to the community to explain what they do and to get people involved with their committees or organizations.

The Love-In is free and open to all members of the public, especially for the youth of our community in honor of Youth Appreciation Week. Guests of the street festival are encouraged to wear “hippie-style” dress, such as headbands, bell-bottomed pants, beads, psychedelic colors, flowers, and other expressive, (and appropriate), clothing and accessories.
