The Livingston Public Library will host author and journalist Anthony DePalma on Thursday, February 10 at 7:30 pm.
He will discuss his newest book, “City of Dust: Illness, Arrogance, and 9/11,” in which he paints the account of the environmental aftermath and the long-term health effects of the September 11 attack on the World Trade Center.
He offers a detailed look into the health problems suffered by rescue workers, cleanup crew, and survivors and meticulously explains the legal battles to provide health care and compensation to the thousands of contractors, firemen, police, and others who spent months cleaning up Ground Zero.
Anthony DePalma is the writer-in-residence at Seton Hall University. He spent 22 years as a reporter and foreign correspondent at the New York Times.
The event is free and open to all. No registration required.
