Big Mike DeVita & Jersey Jump

Big Mike DeVita began playing in bands in 1965. His musical influences back then were 50′s R&B performers such as Ray Charles, Louis Jordan, & Louis Prima as well as early rockers like Chuck Berry, Little Richard & The Cadillacs. In the next few years Mike became captivated by the sounds of classic Chicago Blues like Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, and Little Walter. He has been hooked on the blues ever since. He has appeared on stage as a vocalist & harp player at just about every New Jersey / New York venue where blues once was and still is performed for the past thirty-something years. His latest and greatest outfit is JERSEY JUMP.
