Are you prepared for when disaster strikes? There will be a free Community College Citizen Preparedness Program (3CP2) co-sponsored by the Livingston, Millburn, Roseland and West Orange Police Departments. The program is being conducted by the Essex County College Police Academy on March 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Heritage Middle School, 20 Foxcroft Drive. The course will teach attendees to make threat-awareness assessments, to function for 72 hours during a disaster without first-responder assistance, and also provide valuable knowledge on disaster recovery measures. To register for the free training, please contact the Essex County College Police Academy via e-mail at pacademy@essex.edu or telephone (973) 877-4350.
