Dr. Elliot Engel will present a light and enlightening literary program, "Defining Dr. Samuel Johnson", on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Livingston Public Library.
Although compiling the Dictionary was Johnson's immortal accomplishment, there is so much more about this remarkable author. Using anecdotes, analysis, and doses of humor, Dr. Engel places Dr. Johnson in his 18th-century context and explores the tragedies of his life.
The presentation is free and open to all. No registration required.
