The K-9 Obedience Training Club of Essex County, NJ, will hold an all-breed (and mixed-breed) dog obedience "show-and-go" match. This is a practice show for an obedience trial and will include all levels of obedience classes: Beg-Novice; Novice; Open; Utility; Rally. Rally is a new type of competition that is attracting more enthusiasts to dog obedience.
Enter your dog in this fun, practice match, or come be a spectator and have the opportunity to watch dogs and their handlers in all levels of ability. Cost to compete: $10.00 pre-entry by 5/9; $12.00 day of event; spectators are welcome and FREE.
This match show is sanctioned by the American Kennel Club and all entries are limited to both pure-bred and mixed-breed dogs that are AKC registered.

There will also be testing for the AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate. Dogs do NOT have to be AKC registered to sign up for this testing, but they must register in advance for the test and there is a $10.00 testing fee. Bring your leash and brush or comb.
The K-9 Obedience Training Club of Essex County, NJ, is a not-for-profit organization that has operated continuously since its founding in 1944. Classes are held from September into May in Montclair every year.
