The Essex Water Color Club, now in the 80th year of continuous activity in the watercolor painting community, is pleased to announce that New Jersey's own Robert Heyer will conduct a watercolor painting demonstration of
his award winning techniques on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 2-4 PM at the Livingston Senior Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue, Livingston, NJ.
Robert Heyer's watercolor paintings represent a wealth of
interesting sights from home and abroad, and are expressions of his unique interpretation. Bob has dveloped a national reputation as a painter, teacher and literary contributor to art magazines and has received numerous awards and honors for his artwork. His paintings have appeared in many exhibitions and art shows and are held in both private and corporate collections.
His paintings have been featured in "Watercolor Magazine", The Best of Watercolor, "International Artist Magazine" and the "American Artist Magazine" as well as The Collected Best of Watercolor.
Bob is a full Signature member of the New Jersey, Garden
State, and Pennsylvania Watercolor Societies and as well as a Fellow in the American Artists Professional League of New York. He has been the recipient of the prestigious NJ Water Color Society Silver Medal Award.
Bob currently teaches watercolor painting to advanced,
intermediate and beginning students in a classroom setting. He particularly enjoys performing watercolor demonstrations and workshops (indoors or outdoors)
for various art groups and associations.
The demonstration is open to the public and is free to members and $5 for non-members and guests. Refreshments will be served. Bob is a very popular demonstrator, so an early arrival will help to get the best seat.
