
Irish Heritage Night with the Newark Bears is set for Thursday night at Riverfront Stadium in Newark.
The evening is sponsored by New Jersey's oldest St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee and the state's newest Irish-American organization, Irish Network NJ.
The festivities will begin at 6:15 p.m. with an on-field performance of Irish dancing by the DeNogla School of Irish Dance and the signing of the Irish and American National Anthems by Eamonn Ryan of the "Eamonn Ryan Showband."

The game will then begin at 6:35 pm and feature the Bears playing the New York Federals.
Admission packages benefiting the Newark St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee include tickets to the game and a meal voucher; $25 for adults and $15 for children. Ticketholders will have access to special section of reserved seating or the enclosed Blue Room, both on the first level of the stadium.

Tickets will be available on game day and checks should be made payable to the "St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee, Inc."
Members of the Newark Firefighters Pipe Band will also perform "God Bless America" during the seventh inning stretch.
