LHS Students Hold Best Pizza Contest

Jeff McMurray's global business ed class at Livingston High School will hold its second annual "Best Pizza In Town" Competition on 3/13 (raindate 3/13) from 1pm to 3pm in the school's cafeteria.  Participating pizzerias include:  Pizzetta, Calabria, Anthony Franco's, Cammarata's, Il Giacalone, and Sofia's.  Customers will take a blind taste test before voting for their favorite plain pizza as well as their favorite specialty pizza.  Admission includes unlimited pizza donated by the participating pizzerias.

This event is held as a fundraiser for the class which conducts a virtual business known as World Piece Pizza.  Each April, the students attend a trade show in New York City where they spend the day setting up a booth and conducting business with the other companies in the virtual network.  Those businesses consist of high schools and colledges throughout the country and worldwide.

Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.  For more information, email lhsglobalbusiness9@gmail.com.
