The Livingston Camera Club will hold its second competition at the Senior/Community Center at 204 Hillside Avenue. Enter on the left side of the building, lower level. The competition is open in subject so any type of photograph may be entered. Since the club has a wide range of abilities among its members, it is easy to find a place to fit in as a new member and find ways to develop your skills. During competitions, you will learn from the judge's comments how to avoid distracting elements and how to make a stronger composition. You will also be inspired to explore new subject matter as you observe the wide range of images presented.
The judge for this competition is Vinnie Kempf, one of camera clubs' favorite judges. He has been photographing for years. He judges both local and international competitions. As a widely traveled photographer, he has been able to create a number of digital shows about those travels. Vinnie is a recipient of the New Jersey Federation of Camera Clubs' Citation Medal, which is awarded to photographers who have helped to further photography in the state.
