Livingston Old Guard to Host Congressman Rodney Freylinghuysen on May 1, 2012

U.S. Congressman Rodney Freylinghusen, (R-NJ), will be the
guest speaker at the regular meeting of the Livingston Old Guard on Tuesday,
May 1, at 10:30 AM, following the Organization’s regular meeting on that date.  

Freylinghusen is serving his 9th term in Congress
and has recently had his district redrawn to include all of Livingston  He has been in Congress since 1995 and his presentation
will deliver a Washington Update highlighting what Congress is currently
working on, followed by a Q&A session with those in attendance.
Freylinghuysen serves on the House Appropriations Committee which oversees the federal
budget, and is a senior member of the Defense Subcommittee and the Homeland
Security Subcommittee.  He is a veteran
who served in Vietnam with the 93rd Engineering Construction
Battalion and is a member of both the American Legion and the VFW. 


The talk is open to all Livingston residents and will give
our citizens an opportunity to hear directly from our Representative in
Congress and to ask him questions.  Don’t
