Four-week program culminates in three performances of The Sound Of Music!
PeachCraft Studios of Summit, NJ announces auditions for its summer 2011 Musical Theater Program, culminating in three performances of Rogers and Hamerstein’s The Sound of Music (1965). Our stage is Morristown Beard's state-of-the-arts FOUNDERS HALL!
This successful program, now in its sixth year, runs weekdays from MONDAY , June 27 throughSATURDAY, JULY 25 from 9 AM to 4 PM, with public performances on Friday, July 24 at 7:30 PM and Saturday, July 25 at 2 PM and 7:30 PM. Student artists will have the opportunity to hone their musical and dramatic talents during an intense rehearsal period before performing in a fully-staged musical in Founders Hall, a new, state-of-the-art theater on the campus ofMorristown-Beard School, Morristown, NJ. In addition to daily music and staging rehearsals, performers will work individually or in small groups with members of the faculty and participate in weekly master classes with renowned guest artists.

Auditions are at PeachCraft Studios, located at 371 Springfield Avenue, on March 27 and April 10, April 16, May 1 and May 8 and May 15. (all Sundays) from 2-5 PM.
