Orchestra auditions for Children's Theatre of Livingston will be held at Northland Pool for the upcoming show Free to Be-You and Me with performance dates on April 8th, 9th and 10th, 2011. This select orchestra pit will be made up of students from the middle school (6, 7 and 8 grades) under the leadership of Music Director John Conte. The instruments being called for an audition are violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet , saxophone (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone), bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone/euphonium, tuba, drum set, marimba/xylophone/vibraphone, auxiliary percussion and guitar. Performers are asked to bring their instrument and 16 measures of your choice of music. Percussionists need to bring the major parts of their drum set to show what they can do and/or bring their bell set to show what they can play.
