A lecture titled Picturing America: 250 Years of American Art, will be given by Patsy Nance, from the Newark Museum, and will be illustrated with slides of selected paintings, sculpture, photographs, drawings and decorative arts from the world-renowned American Art galleries at the Newark Museum. The Newark Museum, founded in 1909, is the largest museum in New Jersey, with 80 galleries that include American, African, Asian and Classical arts.
There is no admission charge and reservations are not required.
