Rachel Coalition presents the Women to Women Luncheon with featured speaker Thrity Umrigar on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park. Umrigar's best-selling book, The Space Between Us, is set in modern-day India and explores the shame and disappointment of an abusive marriage and the limits of the bonds of womanhood.
Rachel Coalition is privileged to welcome Janice Huff, Chief Meteorologist for WNBC New York as a special guest who will deliver welcoming remarks. Ms. Huff, a passionate advocate for children and community related issues and has received numerous awards and accolades for her service in this area.
The Women to Women Luncheon is generously funded by the Florin Education Series Endowment Fund, which allows the Coalition to sponsor a community education program providing different perspectives of domestic violence. Strict Kosher dietary laws observed.
