Temple B'nai Abraham Men's Club Dinner Meeting

On Thursday, February 17, at 6:45 PM there will be a Temple B'nai Abraham Men's Club dinner meeting, at which time there will be an information session regarding the Men's Club softball team for the 2011 season which begins in April. Games are generally on Sunday mornings beginning at 10:00 AM. The regular season runs from April  through the middle of July, with playoffs following. To play on the TBA softball team, one must be a current member of Temple B'nai Abraham , as well as a Men's Club member.

Upon conclusion of the softball information meeting at approximately 7:30 PM, join us for a presentation by Kate Press, New York City Regional Director of JStreet entitled JStreet 101:  Introduction to J Street. J Street's mission is two-fold: first, to advocate for urgent American diplomatic leadership to achieve a two-state solution and a broader regional, comprehensive peace and, second, to ensure a broad debate on Israel and the Middle East in national politics and the American Jewish community. Kate Press joined the Field Team after working with J Street U as the East Coast Organizer. In this role, she helped students organize on campus. She has over 3 years experience in organizing and volunteer management. Kate received her M.A. in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. From 2008-2009, Kate participated in the Dorot Fellowship in Israel and has traveled both Israel and the West Bank extensively.
