United Way of Northern New Jersey Family Success Center is holding a free career seminar for local professionals. The next seminar, titled “Tips for a Successful Interview,” will take place on Thursday, September 22 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the United Way building, located at 60 South Fullerton Avenue in Montclair.
Guest speaker Cynthia W. Villarosa, chief professional officer at United Way of Northern New Jersey, will share tips to help job seekers improve their interviewing skills and their chances for success in landing the job. Topics covered will include making a great first impression, preparing the right answers to standard questions, asking the right questions to the interviewer, following up after the interview, and more.
