Township Recycling Event

Livingston will hold its annual spring electronics recycling and paper shredding event 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Livingston Senior and Community Center.

Electronic items that will be accepted for recycling include: computers, monitors, flat screens, printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, keyboards, laptops, cables, telephones and telephone systems.

Other electronic items that will be accepted for recycling include: televisions, VCRs, stereos, radios, DVD players, microwave ovens, toasters, irons, cell phones, pagers, electronic games, CDs, disks, zip drives, printer and fax cartridges, tapes and rechargeable batteries.

Only residential paper documents will be accepted for recycling. All types of paper will be accepted excluding hard-covered books, paper clips, binders and other fastened documents.
