
Seton Hall University students will join the Livingston Health Department to present an educational afternoon exploring your knowledge of breast cancer. We will explore Myths and Facts about Mammography, BSE (breast self examine) will be demonstrated on models to help you become familiar with the exam. Included will be instruction about breast changes that need attention and information that not all lumps are cancerous. We will have hand-outs from Saint Barnabas Breast cancer center and ribbon available from “Susan G Komen for the Cure” through donations.
Following our educational programs, we will trim the trees with pink breast cancer awareness ribbons, and participants will take one home to trim their own tree.
