The West Essex Art Association is proud to announce the start of their 2012-2013 season with a watercolor demonstration by West Caldwell artist, Marilyn Rose. The date is September 12, 2012. The meeting and demo will be held at 459 Passaic Avenue West Caldwell, NJ 07006(973) 276-6700 on the lower level in the activities room.
Marilyn paints landscapes, figures, portraits, florals and still lifes, street scenes, but she excels at painting en plein air. "En plein air" is a French expression which means "in the open air", and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors. It's not easy and takes years to master.
Please join the West Essex Art Association as they welcome the new Art Season and enjoy a demo by Marilyn Rose. All artists and public are welcome.
