The Livingston Advisory Committee for Disabilities (LACD) and the West Essex YMCA in Livingston will co-host a free “Wiffle Ball” Youth Sports Program, in connection with Youth Appreciation Week, on Tuesday, May 24 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Livingston High School.
The Wiffle Ball Youth Sports Program is especially created for children and teens with disabilities. The event will be led by LACD co-chair Bob Gebroe and West Essex YMCA’s Senior Program Director Cheryl Francione and staffed by student and parent volunteers from the community, who will be teaching the young people valuable sports skills in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Bob Gebroe invites all members of the community to join the Wiffle Ball Sports Program. His motto for the evening: “Come out and have some fun.”

Children are welcome to participate in the Wiffle Ball Youth Sports Program to learn or improve upon their game within a clinic-style atmosphere, followed by game playing. The sports program is also a great opportunity for the children and teens to practice their social skills in a natural setting.
