An Exciting Butterfly Release @ The Early School of Temple B'nai Abraham

The educational experience of raising butterflies is something the students of The Early School of Temple B’nai Abraham will soon not forget. The preschool students learned about the life cycle of the butterfly as they watched the transformation day by day from the small caterpillar state all the way through the metamorphosis to a butterfly. Once the butterflies emerged from their cocoons, the children watched them for a day or two, but the butterflies were released within that time so that they can quickly learn to be on their own in the wild. Shown are Early Schools students releasing the adult butterflies outside soon after they emerged. Early School programs are open to non-members.
