Final Vote Totals And Election Results Certified In Livingston

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The final vote totals in the Nov. 8 elections in Essex County, including Livingston's council and school board races, were updated and certified by the county on Tuesday.

As mail-in votes could still be sent in on Election Day, final totals were not available until recently.

In Livingston's form of government, council members are elected and choose a mayor from among themselves.

Below are the results two weeks ago followed by the numbers as of today.

Town Council: Seven candidates for three council seats:

• Dr. Rosaura "Rosy" Bagolie: 5,098; final 5,779
• Shawn R. Klein (current councilman): 5,603; 6,341
• Edward Meinhardt (current mayor): 5,781; 6,520
• Sehak Lakhani-Bhatt: 3,065; 3,393
• Michael Livi: 2,921; 3,192
• Ruslan Milov: 2,816; 3,074
• Samantha Messer: 2,737; 3,069

Board of Education:

• Seth Cohen: 5,560; 6,214
• Parul Aneja Khemka: 3,797; 4,336
• Marjorie Wang: 3,061; 3,439
• Adriana Bordoni: 2,149; 2,384
