Flooding Closes 'Multiple Roads' In Livingston, Town Says

A flood warning remains in effect as roads were closed in Livingston and surrounding areas.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The town of Livingston warned travelers on Monday to be wary of local flooding during the coastal storm.

"If you approach a flooded road, path, or walkway," they wrote, "Turn Around, Don’t Drown"

"Multiple roads in the area are closed due to flooding," the town posted on social media.

The National Weather Service issued several reports about rivers flooding, including the "Passaic River At Little Falls affecting Essex and Passaic Counties."

Monday night, the town of Fairfield said roads will become impassable as the Ramapo River flooded. The town declared a State of Emergency.
