Four Candidates Vie For 2 Spots on Livingston Board Of Education

One incumbent and three other candidates will run in the Nov. 8 race for Livingston Board of Education.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Four candidates will run for two seats opening up on the Livingston Board of Education on Nov. 8.

Incumbent and Board President Seth Cohen has filed to run for re-election, while member Samantha Messer has decided to run for City Council as an Independent instead.

According to the Essex County Clerk's office, these candidates filed by the Monday deadline to run: Adriana Bordoni, Seth Cohen (incumbent), Parul Aneja Khemka, and Marjorie Wang.

Voters can choose any two candidates from the four who filed.

Cohen's slogan is "Championing Children's Potential." Khemka's slogan is "Nurture to Educate." Bordoni's slogan is "Livingston Education, forward ever backwards never… Guaranteed."
