Free Healthy Cooking Demo, With Samples, To Be Held By Livingston Health Department

Livingston's Health Department and a local hospital will host a free healthy cooking demostration, with salad samples, for Nutrition Month.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Health Department, in conjunction with Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, will host a free healthy cooking demo on Tuesday, March 14, with free recipes and salad samples.

The program will run from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. It will be held at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Ave., Livingston, in the Tahaney Room 3 on the first floor.

March is National Nutrition Month, the Health Department noted, saying, Good nutrition has many benefits, such as helping you maintain a healthy weight, supporting your immune system, and improving your cholesterol levels. Join us during National Nutrition Month to learn more about healthy recipes you can make at home."

The event will be presented by Lauren Crosta of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.

During the healthy cooking demo, attendees will be able to sample a salad recipe and be provided with the recipe as well.
