Free Summer Concerts, Movie Nights In Livingston: 2026 Events

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Recreation and Senior Services Department will host a series of Wednesday night concerts in July and movie nights in August.

Here’s what is planned for the 2026 “Summer Nights at the Oval,” according to a township advisory:

CONCERT NIGHTS

• Time: 7 p.m.
• Location: Gazebo in Memorial Park
• Cost: FREE; no pre-registration is required

Wednesday, July 8: Suit & Mai Tai - Yacht That Rocks – This high-energy, seven-piece band puts a fresh, electrifying spin on yacht rock, blending smooth ‘70s and ‘80s classics with powerful vocals, rich harmonies, and rock-driven intensity to create a crowd-igniting, full-production experience.

Wednesday, July 15: The Cliffs - Home to New Jersey’s most versatile eight-piece cover band, The Cliffs deliver high-energy, down-to-earth fun with exceptional professionalism for any special event.

Wednesday, July 22: Action Park - A high-energy, full-costumed tribute that recreates the wild, neon MTV era with iconic hits, retro visuals, and immersive, over-the-top performances inspired by New Jersey’s legendary Action Park.

Wednesday, July 29: The Wag - A dynamic, four-piece pop-rock band from New Jersey known for catchy originals, rich harmonies, and engaging performances, delivering fun, family-friendly shows backed by 25 years of experience and national touring credits.

MOVIE NIGHTS

• Time: Sundown
• Location: Gazebo in Memorial Park
• Cost: FREE; no pre-registration is required

• Wednesday, August 5: Wicked for Good - Elphaba is hiding as the "Wicked Witch of the West" while she fights against the Wizard’s oppressive regime and attempts to save Oz’s Animals.
• Wednesday, August 12: GOAT - Will, underestimated due to his size, joins the Vineland Thorns, a struggling team aiming for a championship, challenging the notion that only large predators can dominate the game.
• Wednesday, August 19: A League of their Own - Sisters Dottie Hinson and Kit Keller join the Rockford Peaches, managing sibling rivalry and a cynical coach, Jimmy Dugan, to prove women's value in sports and their resilience.
• Wednesday, August 26: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie - Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi journey into space to rescue Princess Rosalina, who has been kidnapped by Bowser Jr.. Bowser Jr. plans to drain her power to build a universe-destroying weapon and free his shrunken father, Bowser.
